One of the most common fish found here is the Tamban fish, a species of Clupeidea often used to make sardines. However, in our islands, this fish is traditionally processed into dried salted fish, locally known as Ikan Pedak or salted fish. In addition to that, we also provide agricultural products such as premium white pepper, locally called "Sahang". Belitung white pepper is known for its stronger spiciness, warming sensation, and its uniquely fragrant aroma compared to regular white pepper.
